I had no idea that I would eventually settle in Hawaii. To me, Hawaii was a place where rich people went to vacation and where Elvis made some movies. To be honest, I never thought about it much at all. My parents never ever said, Boys (me and my older brother) pack your gear we're going to Hawaii! Hell, I'm not sure I knew where it was on the map (ok, I’m stretching a little, I’ll get back on track). The point here is that Hawaii's marketing is very limited to hotel, resorts and beaches. There is much, much more to the Hawaiian Islands. There is a whole undercurrent of event and activities taking place here that very little people on the mainland are privy to. With that said, I’m on a mission to break the traditional Hawaii marketing mode and let you guys know what’s going on in the Hawaii’s Urban community, and also invite you to come experience it for yourself.

Mahalo and Aloha for now....

SoulHawaii.com is primed to be a leading source of information of Hawaii’s urban community, featuring local writers, covering local events and activities Island wide.

Connect with me on: Twitter
